Why AI advancement doesn't have to come at the expense of marginalized workers (opens in new tab)

Tell that to all those who lost their jobs and livelihoods in the name of "AI restructuring". Granted the companies are cutting costs for various reasons - and using AI as a reason / excuse - but the harm is real none-the-less.
