I see your point, but I think it depends on the situation. In this case, he misunderstood the task, and instead of reflecting on his mistakes, he complained about it online. Not a great look.

How he misunderstood the task? is it a task or a test? what's the purpose of the test, what do they test? the ability to code or something else?
