Show HN: Built a site for tech comparisons backed by battle scars, not AI (opens in new tab)

I was constantly frustrated by the lack of reliable, experience-based tech comparisons. You know the drill — you search gRPC vs REST or CloudFront vs CloudFlare, and end up sifting through outdated blogs, generic Medium posts, or worse: AI-generated filler with no substance.

So I built https://convinceme.tech.

Only approved submissions authored by legit users will be posted. There’s no AI-written content, just actual engineers sharing stories, tradeoffs, and hard-won insights.

Each submission is upvoted by readers based on how helpful it is — and anyone can contribute by submitting their take for review.

It’s still early and very much in motion. Feedback, thoughts, and criticisms all welcome. Happy to answer questions!
