The American people, through their elected representatives in Congress, decided saving those kids' lives are in our moral interest. Then Elon Musk decided it isn't.
They did not. Had they, Congress would’ve done something, given it can legislate and owns the budget. Americans have widely voted for people who actually represent them - craven, shortsighted and mean - to go to Congress.
