Online message boards like Hacker News, FlyerTalk, Something Awful, Ars Technica, and many others are treasure troves of fascinating discussions. As forums decline with the rise of Reddit and Discord, I believe their rich content deserves wider access.
That’s why I created threadsinside.com, which offers a curated overview of standout threads (with direct links) and a podcast that dives into individual discussions (available on Spotify and freely on the website as well). For the podcast I make use of NotebookLM during this testing phase.
My hypothesis is that a small portion of internet users (content addicts like me) will be interested in this content, supplementing their consumption of, for instance, online newspapers or social media.
You can browse the website without an account to a certain extent, and I'm currently testing subscription options to support the workload of curation and podcast scripting.
