What are you talking about? The sentiment towards USA has been positive, pretty much worldwide apart from the places you would expect (Russia, china, greater middle east, parts of the Balkans). In Europe it was pretty stellar until the Iraq war.
Looking at sentiment towards the USA in Africa it is clear that there is quite a lot of goodwill.
