I got tired of reading clickbait articles and seeing irrelevant ads. So I pulled in a few RSS feeds to create a news digest using OpenAI 4o-mini for summarisation.

Appreciate any feedback you'all might have.

PS: News-summarisation may have been done to death, but I'm a UI noob, so I'm using this project to learn some.

It looks pretty good! Minimal, clean styling.

How are you prompting for your summaries? Are you telling 4o-mini to use a certain style?

Thanks! Yes, I ask it respond as an analyst but I'm grouping the news by pre-generated metadata prior to summarising it.

get a data/time stamp on the news and show it on the graph at specific points, which can be traversed below as well as on the graph. People would get 2 benefits: (1) get the news, (2) see if the news had any bearing on or correlation to the price at all.

Thanks! Have this on the to-do but I'm on the fence about it because I feel the news is already factored-in in the trading prices.
