What is the point of karma? Do I gain anything from having more of it, like on stackexchange?

You can change your topbar color, mine is #000

Mainly two things, AFAICS:

1) "Prestige".

2) Perhaps some actual advantage in the form of your comments being taken more seriously by people here whom you want to take them seriously, if any.

(Idunno, maybe those are the same thing.)
