1500 watts is about what an electric kettle uses.

American kettles. Kettles in hard core countries push 2300 to 2400 watts ;-)

American stove startups can do it in 40 seconds with ??? watts by precharging a battery.

Slow-boiled water gives superior flavor!

Meh, Lidl sells 3200w kettles.
