We built Pichondria, a USB-PD 2.0/3.0 to 5V 5A power converter board for Raspberry Pi 5 and other 5V devices. It lets you step down USB-C PD (9V, 12V, 15V, or 20V)—from USB-PD adapters, power banks, or Li-ion batteries—to a stable 5V at up to 5A. Perfect for powering single-board computers, high-power LEDs, or other 5V projects without bulky adapters.
Features:
5V 5A output via USB-C and solder pads USB-PD 2.0/3.0 compatible input via USB-C (also has solder pads) Compact & efficient – ideal for embedded projects We built this to power our Raspberry Pi 5 using existing USB-PD adapters and to add more flexible power options. It works like a universal PD-to-5V adapter for Pi and similar devices.
