Do you know Finder can do this? (opens in new tab)

Finder is just so limiting. It's like Apple stopped putting any effort into improving it.

The Path bar, as an example, is functionally inferrior to the Address bar which you can click into to adjust paths, copy/paste, etc. (sure you can right click the Path bar, but that involves the mouse).

"Terminal here" also requires the Path bar, another thing Explorer does better.

Then there is Finder and SMB shares. Pile.

I'm probably forgetting more.

As many of you, I'm too frustrated with Finder in macOS to a point that I learnt SwiftUI to build my own Finder companion. Yet every day I discover new hidden gems. I have started documenting them and have plans to do that in future. Sharing it here, hope you find it useful
