Please believe me.

I’ve been skeptical, but I thought it was possible. The evidence seemed weak, though - I’m a relative nobody, and when I had a tiny bit of e-fame there were a few people out there relentlessly cheerleading/shilling me and aggressively agreeing with everything I said. So the fact Dittman did this with Elon was hardly conclusive. I thought they did sound alike, but that’s not conclusive.
A few people did claim they heard Dittman in spaces while Elon was on live television, but of course since I could not verify that for myself I considered it possible that they were just Elon boosters making that up to defend him. But it looks like they were right. Musk and Dittman are definitely different people.
Musk has had some cringe alts but Adrian is not one of them, he tolerates him because he's a massive fan who always has his back and he likes the attention all the speculation gets.
If this is a tell at all, it suggests that Dittmann is an AI experiment of some kind. Certainly we're at the point where someone with a sufficiently-expansive public persona can be "emulated," albeit imperfectly, by an LLM.
Feed all of his tweets to a model and ask it to generate more like them, and, well, there you go. The outcome would be indistinguishable from the observation.
So much for the billionaire fanboy copium.
I don't know about you, but this is extremely creepy and overly excessive to get information on a private individual without consent, just because he has a similar voice to Elon.
Especially when this all of this was based of a joke it seems?
This is directed at both this article and the Spectator.
Should we do an in-depth and detailed documentation on the 'roon (@tszzl)' X account next?
People obviously are going to be interested to find every snippet of information they can about his beliefs and goals — especially the ones he’s unwilling to publicly sign his name to.
But that doesn't mean you should go ahead and hunt for every detail about a person just because they sound like Elon.
So if I am a great Elon Musk impersonator should I be doxxed to a huge extent just like in this article / Spectator?
All one had to was ask or do a face interview with the person.
And it’s not “just” because he sounds like Elon. There have been multiple occasions where Adrian has said “I” referring to Elon. Obviously people slip up in speech, but also obviously some people have pseudonyms.
Adrian has lots of in-depth knowledge of Tesla/SpaceX, shows up in the same circles as Elon constantly, has an obscene Twitter addiction (i.e. just participated in a 10 hour live audio chat), defends Elon at every chance including in deeply weird/personal ways like “you are such an amazing father Elon” on pictures of Elon and his kids.
It’s all quite weird and people are absolutely justified to be curious what the fuck is going on.
