They say that the move is to keep up their ethics policy. I feel The Verge has had so many „push-to-buy“ articles in the past that paying for the few well written articles makes little sense. So very sadly I am saying goodbye Verge

Actually, paid options probably are OK. Paywalls are not great. Locks out plenty of people and furthers social divide.
