No one is going to be held accountable for anything. The doer's of the deed are all outside of the U.S. capabilities to do anything about, and even if not, China is not going to fold to any assertion of being at fault. The methods are known and will continue being used. We don't have much of anything to show for it but a bunch of virologists still convinced the approach hasn't really been tried, and we just need to dork with one more for that next vaccine breakthrough.
