That is one interpretation for sure but this was the cheapest way for me(a solo dev) to validate if the problem statement is real or not.

I am more than happy refunding $1 to someone who pays and isn't happy with the results. Otherwise people get 3 free credits.

So you should be clear about what you are doing. There is a difference between (a) validating a problem statement before you build a product and (b) selling a product that doesn't exist.
