we are hearing about this now because this phase is over i guess.
it was the required economic play when everyone (everyone who matters in finance, not me or you) could get zero interest loans.
you could even see the bubble following the zero rates... it starts with Japanese funds, then usa with the flagship case of sbv, and now dying out on Netherlands.
I'd short anything remotely public from any funds still doing this play, and there are a lot of slow movers.
