Okay Mr. High Horse. My issue with them isn't passion, it's pride. Every other week some tech-minded person will look at something which works perfectly well and think "I know nothing about this but I'm sure it could be improved with a robot". The robot is almost always a bad idea because it doesn't take into account the actual needs and wants of the people it's being sold to, and sometimes those people are forced to use it anyway. The only reason it exists is because its creators know about technology and when all you have is a hammer your problems start to look like nails.
