Show HN: I built a really fast writing app that finds connections in your notes. (opens in new tab)

I have been working on building thinkdeli.com for the past few months in my work break. It started with an aim to build a really fast app that would also let me write offline. I shared it with a few friends, they seemed to like it. I kept building and I have DAUs now :)

thinkdeli.com is a zero setup writing and publishing app powered by AI.

thinkdeli uses semantic search to find patterns in your notes and surfaces the most relevant notes as you are writing, real time. There is also an AI writing assistant that helps you brainstorm and write better. You can also chat with your notes and ask questions like - "Based on my therapy notes, recommend some books that will help me".

The part that has been surprising for me is that people love to publish their notes. After talking to users, I built an entire reading section in the app - which supports likes, comments, subscribing, etc.

thinkdeli supports traditional features like tagging, backlinks, etc. It also supports *Markdown*. It is a rich WYSIWYG editor.

I used react, nextjs, tiptap, yjs, transformers.js (huggingface) for creating embeddings using an LLM. I am using OpenAI APIs for the AI assitant features.
