Well, yes. Thank you. I am interested and frankly identify with others who would literally pry back the cloak of reality itself to see what lies beyond, or inside.
Sometimes I feel like it is crazy. Here we are, each of us taking this free ride we are given. That ticket to a life.
And what else is there but wonder?
We don't know why we are here. We don't know for how long, though we have a general idea for each of us, and it's not long enough, if you ask me.
And the place is HUGE! Good grief. There is ZERO chance at even a tiny smidge of understanding, but we can get a glimpse through science. And that's cool!
Are we stuck on some backwater just far enough from the goings on to be alone effectively?
Or, maybe most of the place is toxic and we are ultra lucky.
I could go on. We've all had these thoughts. And we will all hopefully make peace in our shared ignorance too.
For me, that's looking around at what we think we understand, where we can actually go, what we can actually do and it's amazing!
What is even more amazing is the science we do opens up doors. Little by little we increase our grasp on this ride we are on, this place we are in, and for us reading this right now there is a damn good chance this taste of it all will be all we ever know.
Sure glad we are here, and my only complaint is we spend way too damn much time laboring when we probably don't need to and not enough of us get to participate in the science, but at least it's shared with us. I'm happy. Seriously.
