Just remember that these firms do not work for free. You need to be able to pay these firms. If you're able to build your MVP yourself, it may be in your best interests to save your nickels until you have enough cash flow or investment to hire.
Likewise, if you're iterating / not really sure what you need to build; you can easily waste a lot of money (and time) building things that you end up throwing away. Figure out how to validate your ideas without writing a lot of code.
