I've been following the news about Google Cloud's layoffs over the past two years, and it’s pretty concerning. They’ve been cutting roles and implementing cost-saving measures, which seems to be hitting morale hard. Now, with AI being such a hyped game-changer, it feels like Google isn’t winning the race.

Layoffs can really bring down the spirits of those who stay, and right now, Google needs its best people more than ever to stay competitive in AI. It’s a huge field with so much potential, and it seems like Google might be shooting itself in the foot with these cuts.
