And why don't we simply cut Russia off from the internet? I'm constantly amazed at how we permit pervasive comprehensive attacks from other countries without a peep.

Why does US, the largest country, not simply eat the others?

Because you can't. You are welcome to cut off yourself from the internet, this way you'll be totally safe.
