Ask HN: Will capitalism remain incumbent in the US over the next 50 years?

Worth knowing what capitalism is and isn't as well as the the continuum on which it exists: https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/capitalism.asp

The question assumes a consensus definition of capitalism, and that it (by any definition except the most careless) is incumbent. I recommend that you back out both of those assumptions.
