I really like the idea, but I don't really get why everyone is using the RP2040 instead of the ESP32. Having Bluetooth on a Bus Pirate world be amazing!

Having bluetooth on a proprietary stack in this kind of hacker-friendly device would not be awesome.

I liked the iCE40 idea better, but RP2040 is not too bad.

Maybe it is time to set aside my bus pirate v3 as the backup device and embrace the fancy v5.

I suppose their audience is more true hackers than general DIYers so that makes sense. I'd rather have proprietary BT than no BT, but I can see why the hacker community in general would prefer the rp2040
