Ask HN: How do I edit my comment?

I dont see any options to edit my own comments? I assume it has something to do with my acct age or karma but a lack of documentation for HN makes me ask here.

context: If you can see the flagged comment in my profile, it was supposed to be a festicious but witty retort to the parent who had originally posted a one word comment but later ammended it w/o saying 'edit' :|

1. You can't edit comments over a certain age (about 2 hours)

2. You can't edit comments after someone has replied to it. (I think?)

"Please don't comment about the voting on comments. It never does any good, and it makes boring reading."

#2 is wrong, you can edit your comment after someone replied, but it canbe bad netiquette.

I fix silly typos without warnings (very often).

I make a substancial change, I add "Edit:" or something similar. (Not very often. Most of the times I add another question or source.)

(I also add "Edit:" when I fix a very bad typo noticed in one reply.)
