Technical Diagramming Needs

What does everyone use for their technical drawing needs nowadays? At this point, I've tried a lot of the OSS solutions but nothing seems to stick as a go-to tool for me. I was happiest back in the day when I used Visio, before Microsoft scooped them up. I'd just like to hear from others which applications they find most satisfying.

Sadly, not enough diagram nor technical documentation at all. It's a thing that change over time, but there is a large gap.

About tooling, we have tried some mermaid, plantuml, or other diagram generated from source tool but really nothing that is satisfying.

I'm interested as well in this subject

Primarily used LucidChart but it’s ok. Plantuml has been ok as well.
