It is widely known macOS paging out a lot more than Windows. On a multiTab Safari you could easily have 100GB write or higher per day. Kernel_Task lock up are extremely common on google search.
Thank god I'm not the only one to know that. Peoples keep talking about the awesome efficiency of Apple software but this happened to me and I trashed quite a few SSDs.
Supposedly macOS is more efficient with the hardware but having built hackintoshs I know it is the reverse. Apple fanboys are so confident in their bullshit that it is hard to trust your own experience.
For clarity I am still a macOS and Apple user. Not for long though, I won't buy new Apple hardware until they change their ways. Got the iPhone 12 mini and deeply regret it, even though the physical format is pretty nice.
