The deficits are so big even if there was no war in the Ukraine you're still racing towards some sort of economic reset.
Looks like most developed countries are in the same position, and even if they're not they're completely tied to the U.S economy.
And China is really not doing any better.
Looks like there'll always be something - a pandemic, an inflation reduction act, social security endowments, climate change, war, you name it. The deficits will remain relentless. No government is able to raise taxes in a meaningful way to stop this (even if they try, raising taxes on the middle class will further crush the consumer and might implode this fragile economy. Taxing the rich is an obvious answer but no one seems to be able to do it).
