A relative recently passed away, and echovita.com scrapped the obituary and reposted it. They monetize these by taking a cut on memorial tree planting, or selling overpriced flowers.

I suppose this isn't illegal - but it certainly seems unethical.

I can find a few dead distant relatives that have similar posts up. With trees for sale for 39.95.

They died this year, so after this article. Someone is still at it.
