Nothing complicated really. In the past years I grew a habit of frequently checking the JEP homepage[0] to see what new features are being planned for future Java versions.
At some point, I decided to automate this, creating an automated twitter account which checks the page multiple times per day and posts any updates to JEPs. It has been running since early September:
