Stacks is a new type of web browsing tool that builds personal search engine for you from your bookmarks. It resurfaces bookmarks you forgot about whenever you search on Google and other search engines while browsing the internet.
- What problem does it solve?
Most of us save links, posts, and bookmarks all the time. However, we almost never search through them because the search isn't that effective or convenient. Current bookmark managers and knowledge management systems require major behavior change upfront (like remembering to search in bookmarks) and ongoing manual input such as tagging, organizing, periodic decluttering. This inspired us to build something better - Stacks. We are solving the lost bookmarks problem with Stacks
- Whom does it benefit?
It is a search augmentation platform where high-performing individuals bring their bookmarks together from their browsers, read-it-later apps, social networks and favorite content platform for automatic recall.
- What traction do you have so far?
We have 2500 users and 500+ chrome installs (90% of them acquired in last 3 months)
