Tell HN: Google Is Deploying Chrome-Like “Ad Privacy Features” on Android

This morning, I woke up to a notification on my phone announcing that new "ad privacy features" were now available, similar to the ones added to Chrome recently. I haven't seen anything about this new tracking on Android recently, so I might have just gotten unlucky with an A/B test, but this does show that Google is really committed to deploying this new tracking technology across their products. I am curious if anyone else has gotten this yet, or if the current launch is limited to a few random devices.

In case it is relevant, this happened on a OnePlus 10 Pro running stable OxygenOS 13.1, with Google Play system being on the July 1, 2023 version.

Yes, it showed up on my phone this morning. Oddly enough, though, I didn't update my phone this morning, which means that the "feature" shipped a while back and was only recently activated.
