The 'customized GNU/Linux distribution' is actually a rebranded Mint 10.10, and it's so incredibly ugly and overloaded with visual bloat that I cannot imagine anyone would use this for anything:

However, "Commodore OS Vision" is anything but that and the hardware is ridiculously overpriced, so this opportunity seems to be left for someone else.
