lovely reconstructions. the blank space behind the spine makes me suspect there was more critter there. eggs are very tightly furnished.
yes there's an air bubble for padding but at this stage it would be small; i'd think. and the yolk seems generous for the development too. id guess more soft tissue structures that werent preserved.
