You could demand them to delete the account by withdrawing your consent for data retention. They need to have a legal justification to keep it in that case. Would be interesting how they react.
By GDPR you can also demand them answering with whom the data is shared and how long it will be kept. Their "until suspension is resolved" is not enough here.
You can also set an ultimatum that if they don't resolve this issue within the timeframe of a month, you will include the data protection agency in this case. Sometimes support might suddenly get better within a few minutes.
They'll ignore you and not even bother responding at their DPO contact email. They're banking on the uselessness of regulators and non-enforcement of the GDPR and it's working well.
I tried to delete my account afterwards, but apparently even that's not allowed. Suspended account are not allowed to be deleted until the suspension has been resolved. Isn't this against privacy laws? I should be able to delete my account whenever I want.
