Sounds great until you try and encourage any of these midwits to commute by bicycle, cut down on meat, or localize their vacations. Then the excuses and blame shifting begins.

Climate change is not news. We've all had our entire lives to make sensible lifestyle choices in this regard, but the practical intention just isn't there in any meaningful capacity, neither as individuals or as a group. Until it is, consider me a doomer.
