I'm particularly interested in this. I like working -- I like it a lot... but, I don't think everyone should have to do it, nor should _anyone_ have to put up with a terrible job because it's the only thing that can pay their bills.
I like working especially in my field because I feel I can really do something impactful. I understand that not everyone feels that way about their jobs.
I feel that UBI would allow more people to chase those things that would help them feel impactful.

_This_ is what I want my taxes to go toward. Not the military industrial complex, not the prison industrial complex. I want my tax money to go toward improving the lives of people in need.
I pay a lot in taxes. I wish my neighbor could have some of it. We do, in fact, live in a society.
