So you have to go get out your phone to scan it, at which point, "Hey, I already have my phone out, might as well download the app!".

On a mobile browser it just has a "Get the app" button.

But I’m already on my iPad and still see this QR code. Is the expectation that I would get my phone out to scan the QR? Is there no iPad app?

Per the app store page it does not appear to have an iPad-specific app or layout. It's just the iPhone layout.

Right, the app store link doesn't appear to open anything for me, so I was wondering what's up. That would explain something.

…except I (apparently) can't, for (apparently) 2 days an change.
