This was based on some googling for reports with some numbers. I can't find the exact one I used to get the number but the report linked by
ahelwer in another commend has the same kind of numbers (investment in hydrocarbons was 2.6x of renewable
generation: adding on top investments in switching demand to be able to use renewables, which is primarily investment in EVs, puts the number at 1.7x in 2019):
