To my best understanding of what a code snippet manager will do, no. What value would it offer?

I was thinking of snippet management inside an organisation. One use case I thought of was onboarding new team members.

You'd be able to refer to pre-written, re-usable code snippets for domain specific use-cases. But maybe it's too "out there".

How would that be better than a shared folder with files in it?

I paid for Dash maybe ten years ago. After my initial fascination I never really found it that useful.
