I've occasionally seen some discussion about alternative keyboard layouts, and I just wanted to promote some of the work that the Alternate Keyboard Layouts discord community has been doing for the last few years.
While Dvorak and Colemak are certainly excellent alternatives over Qwerty, the community has sought to find even "better" alternative layouts (for some definition of the word better).
This layout doc attempts to explore some of those definitions and metrics, and identifies layouts that sit in interesting sweet spots.
