I haven’t checked if you guys are hiring, but I would immediately want to be part of this. I do a lot of reverse engineering these days as well as hardware fabrication to create “bridges” from one device to another.

we are! can you email kat@seam.co? We have a couple of hardware projects in development/beta (https://www.seam.co/seam-bridge). We're also interested in providing guides for flashing your own device with some open Yocto-based firmware that we've worked on in the past.
