If this guy is as influential as he claims to be, why would he talk to Vice?

I was wondering about that too, then I saw that his company is YC-backed, and it all made sense -- this is aimed at VCs, and it ran in Vice because that's (somehow, still) the best fit for the company's "cool" brand.
