Having used linear (we switched to Jira) I have to say its near-complete lack of automations, and no REST api, only GraphQL (and not a complete or reliable one at that)… did not impress me.

There is a big feature gap. And also Linear is even more opinionated, and seems to exist mainly to get you to follow their pet process.
