Firstly, if you worked there for 300K for 3.5 years you should have bank set aside. If you werent able to handle that there is very little youre going to gain by crying and lamenting on HN. Especially after this tech lay off there are tons of jobs to be had. Perhaps its not coding in your favorite language or reaching people in a different country but there is work to be had. It seems you have let yourself down on many levels. Stop expecting fame from a keyboard. Do your job, get paid, live your life.
