I guess I am a little confused. This appears to be a UI Component library and/or framework. It says "Turn JSON into Native Mobile App" but all the examples just look like normal React Native code (using the Nano library)?

Yes, it a framework on react-native, it takes JSON and creates app(screens, actions, events, etc), not just UI.
