The problem is, the branch 'main' and its contents will change over time, so GP linked to a 'permalink' of the exact commit hash instead.

While what you say is true I didn't do it intentionally. I just used GitHub search to find that line and posted it here without paying much attention.

Generally its better to post permalinks since they don't change if the file changes over time.
