Elon Musk sending me a notification at 05:15AM, I'm not even following him (opens in new tab)

Go to "Push Notifications" settings and uncheck everything except for "Related to you and your Tweets" section.

Did this when I started using Twitter and haven't gotten any unwanted notifications. I even follow Elon and have never gotten a notification from him after setting up my settings correctly.

I saw a thread on 4chan/g/ that put forth the theory that Twitter is an Elon Musk containment board that his major investors set up for him so he doesn't screw up Tesla and SpaceX during his mid-life crisis, so if you believe that might be true, best humor him if you want Tesla and SpaceX to have continued success.

I'd DM him and tell him he's a tool.

I don't follow Elon either and keep getting his feed. As well as lots of unsolicited fight videos. It's absurd!

Seems Elon asked for more engagement on his tweets.
