Such obvious doublespeak.
Compact always loaded quickly already because it wasn't loaded down with ads and shitty javascript.
They just want to serve more ads to mobile users because some have been "avoiding" it via the compact site. I wish they would at least just own that instead of making up dumb excuses like "consistent web experience".
