I’m not so sure an AI couldn’t, in theory at least produce a memoir if you fed it your diaries, emails, social media chats and histories, photos and videos from throughout your life, and so on.

This feels like a good point. I am curious how the "feeding" would occur here. If there's an API to do this sort of thing right now I'm not aware of it. But I definitely believe that it's coming!

The recently announced GPT-4 [1] now supports feeding it with more “context” when writing a prompt than previous models.

It supports a context length of 32k tokens (approximately 25,000 words or about half a novel).
